The Sathya Sai International Organisation – founded in many countries throughout the world – provides opportunities for the spiritual uplift of humanity. All activities in the Organisation are opportunities to obtain spiritual advance and to discover the inherent divinity within. There are
five wings which conduct activities in every state. These are the Devotional Wing, the Service Wing, the Education Wing, the Ladies Program and the Youth Program.
The Sai Spiritual Education Wing offers weekly classes to children between the ages of 4 to 17 in Sai Centres or in regional classes. Children are taught in appropriate groups to facilitate effective teaching and peer learning. These are called Sai Spiritual Education Classes (frequently referred to by acronym, SSE).
In an SSE class, the teacher utilises the five teaching techniques as given by Sathya Sai Baba to draw out the inherent goodness and divine qualities that are within the child. These are:
* Story Telling
* Group Devotional Singing
* Group Activities
* Silent Sitting
Children are encouraged and provided opportunities such as enacting in dramas, participating in group devotional singing, public-speaking, chanting of prayers, taking part in service activities. This develops self confidence from a very early age, and builds their character.
SSE Classes are held at Bonnyrigg High School, Bonnyrigg every Sunday during NSW School Term from 9.00am to 11.30am.
