The Service Wing shares that the working bees last year at our Sai School in Murwillumbah have been well supported with many members participating, contributing and connecting to our school. A working bee will take place Maha Samadhi – Anzac Day weekend in Australia.
Our next working bee as announced will be from the morning of the 23rd of April and will conclude after lunch (about 1pm) on the 25th of April (Anzac day Public holiday).
Members attending the working bee will also be able to participate in the Mahasamadhi commemoration coordinated by the local regions at our Sai School (primary) campus on the 24th of April, commencing at 11am. Members can continue to do service at the school, if they prefer to during this time.
The April working Bee will focus on Painting, Gardening, Landscaping and Cleaning. Volunteers with specialist skill sets in Carpentry, Fencing, IT hardware (Communications e.g phone setup across the 2 campuses, Server Management), Electrical and Plumbing will be valuable for the working bee. Volunteers who can cook and provide food for the many participating in the working bee across the 3 days will also be in need.
For more information and to participate, please contact your centre president or centre service coordinator.
