The ACT Region of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG warmly invites all to a Mother’s Day walk on Sunday, 14 May 2017. We will be joining the Mother’s Day Classic, an annual fun run and walk, to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
Eawaramma Day is being celebrated this month, a day dedicated to honouring the mother of Sathya Sai Baba. Members of the ACT Region’s groups saw a golden opportunity to celebrate Mothers’ Day as well as honour Easwaramma by participating in the Mother’s Day Classic.
Easwaramma’s love and compassion was legendary. She was also the direct inspiration of many of the mammoth ongoing social service projects which make the name Sathya Sai shine throughout the world. On several occasions He has recalled this endearing facet of her life.
The aim of the Mother’s Day Classic, established in 1998, is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational event that brings the whole community nationwide together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer. Over the last 20 years more than 1.1 million people have walked or run more than 6.5 million kilometres.
Come celebrate Mothers’ Day, and support this worthwhile activity and join with us in enjoying a beautiful Mother’s Day Classic.
