The Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG in collaboration with the Institute of Sathya Sai Education Australia (ISSEA) has organised a special workshop that examines the Human Values of Love, Peace, Truth, Right Conduct and Non-violence and their role in positive development of children. In this industrialised society, we live in, there are many courses available to ensure we are adequately trained and qualified for our jobs. However, there are not many to guide us through the great responsibility of bringing up the next generation to be ideal citizens. The Sathya Sai Values Parenting programme offers an opportunity to fulfil this great task based on a values-based programme.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, 14 October 2017 in Canberra, ACT.
All are welcome.
Workshop Description The aim of this workshop is to increase your awareness as parents to the importance of Human Values in relation to yourselves, your children and your daily interactions with them. This workshop will enable you as parents to gain a better understanding of Human Values and alert you to the fact that as parents you are the prime teacher of values in the early stages of your child’s development and hence parenting needs to be a conscious role modelling of values. Note: This is an interactive workshop. We value your contributions.
Facilitators This workshop will use the learning and experiences gained over a number of years by Bob and Roz Molloy of the Sathya Sai School in Murwillumbah, NSW, a non-denominational school offering the NSW Board of Studies Program with an integrated human values curriculum.
