Victoria Region East & West jointly celebrated Araadhana Mahotsavam at Boxhill Town Hall on Tuesday 24th April.


On Tuesday 24th April, Victoria East & West jointly celebrated Araadhana Mahotsavam at Boxhill Town Hall. The program started at sharp 7.30 pm with an offering of roses to the Lotus feet of Sathya Sai Baba by two young adults. The program continued with 3 Oms, Gyathri Mantra and an acknowledgement to the traditional owners of the Wurundjeri-Balluk tribe and the Kulin Nation.

The program theme was Holding Onto Him, depicting the divine love and yearning for Sai Baba. This theme continued in the musical presentations with soulful singing by young adults in different languages of Tamil, Hindi and English.

The shrine was beautifully decorated with a colour theme of red and all devotees had a chance to wear red on the day. The ladies especially wore colourful outfits mainly red and many of the male devotees joined in wearing red as well.

The atmosphere was filled with divine love and energy. Everyone enjoyed the program and was attended by about 400 devotees.
