Glenwood Centre of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG is once again holding a World Peace Day Program in which the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba on peace and its achievement will be examined. The program will be held on Saturday, 22 September. All are welcome to attend.
Sathya Sai Baba teaches all of us to be “Always Happy and Peaceful”. In HIs Discourse on 24 November 1987, Sathya Sai Baba said “Everyone aspires for peace but peace does not exist somewhere distant from one. First and foremost, one must strive to develop peace within oneself.” In keeping with the teachings, the Peace Program aims to re-visit the teachings and spread the message of Peace. The United Nations observes the 21 September of each year as International Day of Peace. Hence, the Glenwood Peace Program is a timely event and has been observed annually since 1994.
The day’s program will consist of discussion on the topic, presentations by children from Sai Spiritual Education Classes, a guest speaker talking on how EGO impacts our inner peace, and devotional singing.
Dinner will be served as part of the event.
The members of the centre look forward to your participation in this program.
