NSW Regions East and West of the SSIO are hosting a workshop focused on parenting skills and the incorporation of human values in child raising for the benefits of both children and parents. The presenter, Erik Robertson is an acclaimed author and lecturer on the topics. This should be a very valuable session for all parents raising children. All are very welcome to attend.
Erik Robertson is an author, trainer and coach. He works as a freelance consultant for Social Health Care Institutes for the mentally and physically impaired. He studied Educational Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. He has a great deal of experience related to his own successful Parenting Practice as well as his Personal Coaching practice. Prior to that he worked for many non- profit institutions of education and health care.
Erik has received a Diploma from the BISSE in Human Values and developed for the Netherlands the SSEHV Parenting Teacher Training. He has been invited to co-develop a Mentoring Pilot at the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prashanti Nilayam, and has given workshops in the ashram at Prashanti Nilayam on Parenting and on Human Values
Erik’s considerable experience and qualifications will ensure a very productive and informative workshop that will be of interest and assistance to many in coping with and effectively fulfilling their parental roles. The workshop will be an interactive one with a question and answer component as well as small group activities.
