SSIO in Melbourne is holding an instructive presentation on the Vedas, the ancient profound spiritual texts of India and the philosophical spiritual system of Vedanta that over the centuries has developed from them. The talk and workshops will be held on Saturday, 23 February. All are welcome to attend.
The Vedas are amongst the oldest sacred texts in the world and form the basis of a number of spiritual approaches to the Divine. One such approach, described as Non-Dualism and called Vedanta, takes the position that all in existence is Divine and is indivisible from the One, despite appearances. Sathya Sai Baba in His discourses on spirituality has always talked about the Vedas and emphasised the truth of Vedanta explaining the different spiritual paths that can be practically taken to reach the conclusion of the spiritual journey, whether one accepts the concepts of Vedanta or not.
The talk and workshop being conducted in Melbourne will give an introductory insight into the subjects drawing on the Vedas themselves and Sai Baba’s authoritative discourses concerning them and their interpretation. All are welcome to attend this informative and practical session.
