The Queensland Region of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG, with participating health professionals on 23 February 2019 are conducting a workshop focused on health changes as we age and resources available within the community. This is the 3rd such workshop conducted by the SSIO for the benefit of the local communities. The workshop is suitable for those over the age of 60 and carers of such people. All are welcome to attend.
The workshop follows the success of similar workshops devised by the SSIO and the Sai Medial Unit Australia and supported by local health professionals. These workshops focus on Healthy Ageing being designed to enhance opportunities for good health, so that older people can take an active part in society and enjoy an independent and high quality of life.
This program has been carefully designed for both those approaching the time when age-related health issues are likely to occur and carers of the elderly. It is designed give an understanding of the health and mind-related issues of the elderly and how a medical professional can meet their patient’s need with love and compassion.
