Buddha Poornima – 2018

The Sathya Sai International Organisation is a multi-faith spiritual organisation that has participants for many different faiths. It promotes Unity of Faiths looking for commonality between the faiths, rather than differences. It honours the different religions by celebrating some of their holy days. Buddha Poornima is one such celebration which is observed by the Buddhist community. The date of the celebration is different for different regions. We are using the date observed in India, the land of Buddha’s birth; Sunday, 29 April.

Sai Surendranath Relates Experiences and Musings About Sathya Sai Baba

During May 2018, one of Sai Baba’s ex-students, now a teacher at the Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School (SSSHSS) in India, will be touring some cities. He will be speaking at meetings talking about Sai Baba and his experiences of Him stretching over 47 years. This will be a nice opportunity to hear about Sai Baba by a dynamic and enthusiastic speaker who has had very close contact with Him.

Universal Spirituality Program focused on Human Values – May 2018


Sathya Sai Centre of Hurstville invites all interested in participating in a program that explores the spiritual value and application of the key values that are enshrined in all the faiths; Love, Peace, Truth, Righteousness and Non-violence.

They meet every 1st Thursday of the month at Hurstville South Public School Hall, Cnr King Georges Rd., & Maher St., Hurstville. NSW. The next meeting takes place from 7.45 pm until 9.10 pm, Thursday, 3rd May 2018.

Mother’s Day Classic Walk – 2018

The Mother’s Day Classic Walk is an annual fun run and walk event supporting Breast Cancer Research. The event is organised by Women in Super since 1998. Various organisations as well as individuals support and participate in the event, including various regions and groups of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG (SSIO). This year’s event takes place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, 13 May 2018.

Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam (Offering of love and gratitude to Sathya Sai Baba) – 2018

The 24th of April is the anniversary of the day in 2011 that Sathya Sai Baba left His physical form, leaving behind a price-less legacy of teachings and a shining example of selfless love and ceaseless service to humanity. His followers observe the day by reflecting on Him and the teachings of Love and Selfless Service to the community. Events commemorating this day will be held by SSIO throughout Australia.
