The Sathya Sai Centre of Glenwood conducts an annual World Peace Programme. This year the event takes place on Saturday, 21 October. The theme is ‘Sound mind, body and spirit’ which looks at ways of developing inner peace through our lifestyle through the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba
‘Where there is Love, there is no hatred; where there is no hatred, there is peace. We should propagate peace all over the world and it can be done only through love. What is love? Oneness of feeling is love. If you foster the feeling that the same Divine resides in all, you will be able to love all. – Sathya Sai Baba 1993.
The peace programme has been conducted annually since 1994 and is designed for the general community as well as members of the SSIO. The theme varies from year to year, always exploring something that contributes to personal well being and world peace. As Sai Baba teaches, if you want to transform society, then you must start by transforming yourself. Each of us can contribute to peace through our own personal lifestyle and developing peace within us and our ways of interacting with the world. This year’s programme will explore this theme with addresses delivered by a number of people from various walks of life.
All are most welcome and encouraged to attend.
Dinner will be provided at the conclusion of the programme
