South Australia Region of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG is conducting a family oriented spiritual camp over the period 13 – 15 October 2017.
There will be a variety of activities and a special guest speaker.
All are very welcome to attend.
‘The company of the good, Satsang, is like the bit and bridle of the wanton steed…The value of holy places consists in just this; kindred spirits congregate there and contribute to the deepening of spiritual yearning. You can take sweet sustaining counsel together, in such places and strengthen your faith and devotion. – Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 4, 39
The camp theme promotes the awareness of the presence of God who is said to be omnipresent, always with you. The value of spiritual retreats is immense as you spend time in the contemplation of the Divine in the presence of like-minded spiritual seekers which not only promotes spiritual recharge, but strengthens the spiritual family.
The camp is blessed to have a special guest speaker who has fulfilled many roles in the SSIO, particularly with children and young adults, and is an enthusiastic and compelling speaker. Dr Venkat Reddy’s full details are available on the flyer that is available for download below. The camp will mix serious spiritual activity with more light-hearted activities. These include;
- Interactive workshops for children, youth and adults,
- Children’s supervised activities,
- Outdoor activities, sport and fun,
- Devotional singing and prayers,
- Fun and spiritual evening activities.
