The Young Adults of the SSIO NSW West Region are organising a beach clean-up as part of their commitment to service to the community and preservation of our natural amenities.
The teachings of Sathya Sai Baba encourage us to love, respect and have gratitude to our motherland for all she provides us. We are indeed fortunate to live in such a wonderful country, one in which we have peace, stability and freedom. One in which we are surrounded by beauty in the landscape and our glorious beaches. The SSIO has commitment to living in a sustainable way, respecting the resources we have and conserving them for generations to come to use, and to protect all the creatures and life forms that rely on them and their proper use.
Members of the Young Adults programme are particularly active in promoting and working towards maintaining our environment in its best possible way, whether it be by regeneration of bushland, cleaning up areas that are being degraded by inconsiderate waste, or in everyday ways of reducing waste, recycling and conserving our resources.
NSW West Region’s Young Adults are having a working bee towards cleaning up Lyne Park and Rose Bay Beach in Sydney and extend a warm welcome to all who would like to join them.
