Tasmania Region of the SSIO is holding its annual spiritual retreat over 6 to 9 March 2020. The retreat is primarily aimed at its State’s members but heartily welcomes a limited number of visitors.
The Tassie Region has been conducting these retreats for over 30 years and finds they are a wonderful, inspiring occasion in which much camaraderie and love is shared. It has had interstate and local visitors attend many of the retreats and all have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The members are extending a heartfelt welcome to those who might wish to join us on this occasion. However, there is a limit to the number of visitors that can be accommodated and so anyone who is interested to attend is requested to contact the coordinator listed below before making any arrangements.
The theme of this retreat is ‘Winging it’. The name conjures up a bit of mystery as to what it implies. You will need to come to find the answer.
The venue is in the north of the state, near Launceston. It has basic bunk style segregated accommodation, is set in a beautiful semi-rural location backing onto the Tamar River. More details are available on enquiry
