The coronavirus may keep us housebound, but the SSIO Australia will still commemorate Easter with a special Easter program delivered by webinar. All are very welcome to join.

Easter is a special time for Christians. It is a time that commemorates God’s love for humankind demonstrated by the supreme sacrifice by the Lord of Love. It is a time mixed with pain and distress, but also of unbounded hope and redemption; a time that seems to match the world crisis we are all now so truly connected in and the need for light shining at the end of this dark night. To overcome the disconnect many of us are now experiencing, and to maintain continuity of its operations, the SSIO in Australia is presenting an online Easter Devotional Program that is available to all who wish to view and engage with it.

The program includes:

  • Interfaith Program led by Reverend Dr Manas Ghosh of Leigh Memorial Uniting Church, Paramatta Mission.
  • Musical Presentation.
  • Address by Gavina Cossa of the South Hurstville Sathya Sai Centre, National Young Adults Advisor and Senior Scientist at Concord Repatriation Hospital.
  • Address by Sumith Ramana Ailineni, President of the Five Dock Sathya Sai Centre and alumni of Sathya Sai College who will share his experience on the topic: “Why Fear When I am Here.”
