Groups from Victoria East Region of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG combined to celebrate Christmas for 2018 in its true spirit of love, peace and goodwill to all. They observed it with special service activities, traditional Christmas Carolling and community get togethers.
The different regions and individual groups of the SSIO observe Christmas by a variety of ways that focus on the spiritual aspects of this special holy period. These include many service activities that spread the joy and the message of love and sharing. All are welcome and encouraged to join with us in any of the activities.
NSW Region East of the SSIO held a special Christmas service at the Catholic Parish of St. Brigid on Sunday, 10 December. Members of the region, coming from a number of faiths sang hymns and Christmas carols, listened to talks and sought to see God in all.
As is usual for our organisation, several Regions and Groups of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG (SSIO) will be celebrating Christmas as a sacred, loving and joyous occasion often combining some service activity with the event and sharing their celebration with community groups, such as the elderly.
All are most welcome to attend the functions.
The Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG celebrated the birth of Christ and Christmas in a number of REGIONS throughout Australia. The celebrations were of a variety of approaches which aimed to capture the true spirit of Christmas; love, compassion, joy and feeling of togetherness with our fellow man. Carol singing, special Christmas spiritual services and community service activities with both the fellow members and the wider community were the main ingredients that were featured.
Victoria East Region of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia and PNG, in collaboration with the Casey Multi-Faith Network is organising a special celebration of Christmas focusing on the true spirit of Christmas; based on Compassion and the Oneness of Humanity. All are warmly welcomed to attend this free event.
