For over 40 years, the SSIO has conducted an annual worldwide devotional singing event called the Akhanda Bhajan. The event lasts for 24 hours commencing from 6.00 pm on Saturday, 10 November to 6.00 pm Sunday, 11 November.

The Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG will join the rest of the worldwide ‘Sai organisation’ in 24 hours of continuous devotional singing. This annual event is called the Akhanda Bhajan. It takes place at local time from 6.00 pm, Saturday, 12 November through to 6.00 pm, Sunday, 13 November 2016.
Various venues are available. All who wish to participate are most welcome.

This year, on 23 November, the International Sathya Organisation will celebrate 90 years since the Advent (birth) of Sathya Sai Baba, in Puttaparthi, India. NSW Region East will mark this occasion at its August Unity Meeting with 90 devotional songs (bhajans) – for each year of the grace and love of Sathya Sai Baba
Sathya Sai Baba has told one and all that his previous life was that of Sai Baba of Shirdi. There is a Sai Baba Temple at Shirdi visited by millions, annually. In recognition of the Oneness of Divinity New South Wales Region West will conduct community devotional singing at the Shirdi Temple in Castle Hill, NSW on Saturday, 25 July.
