The workshop addressed a need for staff in handling difficult situations that may arise between staff and residents, equipping staff with strategies to avoid or defuse situations before they develop or escalate.
Sai Baba says, “The body has to be carefully and tenderly fostered; It is a precious gift, a very complicated but well-coordinated machine, given for achieving a laudable task” (Sathya Sai Speaks 16.10.1974). In order to create an awareness of mind-related illness, Health Professional from ACT will be conducting a workshop on Mental Health.
The Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG in collaboration with the Institute of Sathya Sai Education Australia (ISSEA) has organised a special workshop that examines the Human Values of Love, Peace, Truth, Right Conduct and Non-violence and their role in positive development of children. In this industrialised society, we live in, there are many courses available to ensure we are adequately trained and qualified for our jobs. However, there are not many to guide us through the great responsibility of bringing up the next generation to be ideal citizens. The Sathya Sai Values Parenting programme offers an opportunity to fulfil this great task based on a values-based programme.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, 14 October 2017 in Canberra, ACT.
All are welcome.
