NSW YA Launch

On 7 March 2026, NSW Young Adults came together for ‘YA Fairground’, the NSW Young Adult Launch for 2026 – spending the morning in connection, collaboration, and shared discussion, with 28 NSW Young Adults attending.

The program was guided by the NSW Young Adult Vision, “Living AUM – From Heart to Hand”, aligned with the SSSIOAU National Theme 2026, “Spirituality 101”. This vision guided the three core activities for the day. Through creative, reflective, and discussion-based activities, Young Adults explored these themes – sharing ideas, collaborating across centres, and reflecting on how we can support one another in growing closer to Swami.

♥️ Heart – Awareness

The first activity focused on nurturing our inner connection with Swami through shared learning, reflection, and discussion on spiritual and human values. Young Adults reflected on the:

  • Importance of strengthening our connection with Swami through reflection, Satsangs, and service.
  • Importance of exploring creative skills like garland making, altar set-up, and instrument learning to express devotion.

💡 Head – Unity

The second activity focused on deepening understanding of Swami’s teachings and strengthening harmony across Adults, Young Adults, and SSE Children. Young Adults reflected on:

  • Fostering teamwork and collaboration across Adults, Young Adults, and SSE Children.
  • Supporting new members through connections with Centre Presidents and Young Adult Coordinators.

🪷 Hand – Manifestation

The final activity explored expressing Swami’s teachings through love in action. Key reflections included:

  • Expressing Swami’s teachings through love in action and inclusive initiatives.
  • Reviving service projects like Nursing Home visits and SSE Bhajan/Jam sessions.
  • Recognising Swami as the doer, guiding all action.
