The ACT Region of the SSIO is continuing its support of the valuable work undertaken by the Birthing Kit Foundation with another day in June set aside to assemble Birthing Kits for distribution to expectant mothers in developing countries. The kits are potentially life-saving items for mothers in areas of minimal or non-existent support for child birth, areas of high infant and birthing mother mortality rates.
ACT Region of the SSIO produces a regular newsletter setting out a brief report on activities undertaken and announcing upcoming events and community service opportunities. It also provides information about their regular meetings for the different centres within the region.
ACT Region included a presentation of talks by students of the SSE programme during their Arandhana Mahotsavam programme. A video is available on the following link, in which the students relate how the teachings of Sai Baba have been applied and helped them in their daily lives.
