NSW Sai Centres Celebrate Easwaramma Day: Honouring Mothers, the Visible Manifestation of God

New South Wales centres celebrated Easwaramma Day with their SSE students enthusiastically leading in singing and a variety of plays and other presentations based around the theme, “Mother, the Visible Manifestation of God.”

Sai centres in New South Wales namely Baulkham Hills, Carlingford, Five Dock, Homebush, Hurstville, Normanhurst, Wollongong and Wentworthville, celebrated Easwaramma Day over two weekends with love, devotion, and camaraderie. This special occasion honours Mother Easwaramma, the mother of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and the universal role of mothers as the visible manifestation of God.

Children took the lead in offering heartfelt devotional singing, human values- based plays, panel discussions and musical performances. Their sincerity and joy created a deeply uplifting atmosphere, reflecting the values of love, humility, and devotion nurtured by parents and teachers alike.

Four of the SSE students also graduated from the program receiving their certificates in a nice ceremony during the celebrations that acknowledged their commitment and dedication to Sai’s teachings. One student from Homebush Centre and 3 from Wentworthville Centre.

The theme, “Mother, the Visible Manifestation of God,” was beautifully expressed throughout the events. Skits and songs highlighted the sacred role of mothers in guiding and shaping lives. As part of the celebration, mothers in the community were specially honoured and thanked for their tireless love and sacrifice.

Parents, teachers, and volunteers worked quietly behind the scenes to make the events seamless and meaningful. Their dedication embodied the spirit of selfless service.

These celebrations not only paid tribute to Easwaramma but also strengthened bonds within our Sai community, reminding all of the divine love that mothers represent and the power of unity in devotion and service.
