On 30 May, members of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation of Australia & PNG, Victoria Region proudly rolled up their sleeves for another “Liquid Love” blood drive, continuing the strong momentum built earlier this year.
With Lifeblood recently reporting a critical shortage across the state, stepping up to support Victoria’s urgent need for blood has never been more important. Blood donations play a vital role in supporting patients in emergency, undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, and other essential medical needs within our community.
It was inspiring to witness such a strong wave of enthusiasm from our community. We are delighted to share that half of the attendees were first-time donors, taking this step for the very first time. Many were pleasantly surprised by how quick and painless the process was. Each donation stands as a beautiful expression of our shared commitment to Sai Baba’s teachings on selfless service demonstrating how a simple act of compassion can offer hope and support to those in need.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated. These regular acts of service are incredibly powerful, transforming a short appointment into a meaningful gift, both physically and spiritually. The enthusiasm of the day continued beyond the event itself, with several members who were unable to donate returning later to successfully complete their donations.
