Sri Sathya Sai Centre of South Hurstville – Christmas Hampers to those in need.
As part of the SAI100 / Million Steps to Swami, members of the SSSIO Centre of South Hurstville NSW, decided to donate to St George Family Support Service (SGFSS) – a local organisation supporting women and their children (0-11yrs).
Members first came across SGFSS when it was selected as a service project for SSSIO’s NSW Region during a 2024 August Unity Meeting. Since then, some members of South Hurstville Sai Centre have continued to support them. When recently contacted regarding a Christmas donation, SGFSS requested Christmas treats for the children.
The children’s Christmas Hampers were packed following the centre’s SAI100 Bhajan. They included puzzles, bubble wands, colouring books, pencils, crayons, bonbons, scrapbooks, games, Christmas-related activities and gingerbread biscuits.
The hampers were delivered to SGFSS on the 4th December, to be distributed to the kids by the 12th December. The hampers included the member’s love and best wishes to all the mothers and children.
